Title: Sir Christopher Wren.
Description: A mezzotint of Sir Christopher Wren (1632-1723). Wren had a great impact on the growing city of London. He suggested that Greenwich should be the home of the Royal Observatory because it was on high ground, away from the smoke of central London and had good access by road and river.
