Title: Calshot lightship off Southampton Water.
Description: Trinity House's Calshot Lightship was located in the Solent. Like lighthouses and buoys, lightships were navigational aids. The lights at the top of their masts were similar to those in lighthouses, but their portability made them much more versatile.
