Description: A relief sculpture depicting the diarist John Evelyn (1620-1706). He was also treasurer of the Royal Hospital for Seamen in Greenwich between 1695-1703. Evelyn's work kept the Hospital going during its earliest years. He had a house in Deptford throughout this period. |
