Title: A Woolwich Ferry boat alongside the North Woolwich approach, c. 1960.
Description: One of the second batch of paddle steamers that operated the ferry between 1922 and 1963. In the latter year, these were replaced by the diesel boats that still continue today. The steamers were side loading, and this boat is alongside the North Woolwich approach. The old Woolwich Power Station, now demolished, can be seen across the river.
