I live in Greenwich

I have lived in Greenwich all my life. I think it is a nice place to live. My favourite bit is Greenwich park.

Greenwich park

From Greenwich park you can see London. There is a playground, a boating lake and lots of space to play football in. It doesn't look like this picture any more becaise there are more buildings.

There is a theatre in Greenwich. Sometimes we go there at Christmas time to see the pantomime.

The Trafalgar pub

This is my Dad's favourite pub in Greenwich. We have been here for lunch quite a lot. It is right next to the river and you can see the boats on the river from it.

In this picture you can see some of the Museum's in greenwich. There is the Royal Naval College, the National Maritime Museum and the Royal Observarory. There is lots to do in Greenwich.

The Millenium Dome

This was built in Greenwich for the year 2000. There were lots of exhibitions in it. I went to visit it with my family.

You can still catch a ferry from Greenwich into London. We have done it lots of times in the summer.

The Cutty Sark

The Cutty Sark

This boat is now out of the water. You can see it in Greenwich. It is really big.
