Description: 'Sans Pareil' was 104 m (340 ft) long. She was fitted with triple expansion engines which gave her a maximum speed of of 17.2 knots. The triple expansion engine marked the beginning of a dramatic increase in the power of major warships. 'Sans Pareil' was armed with two 111-ton guns; one 29-ton gun; twelve 6-inch B.L. (breech-loading) guns and twelve 6-pounder Q. F. (quick firing) guns.
