Title: Inboard profile of HMS Warrior.
Description: Built at the Thames Ironworks and launched in 1860, the 'Warrior' was protected by solid wrought iron plate 4.5 inches thick. Capable of a speed of 13.5 knots, she was powered by the largest set of marine engines yet built. The twin-cylinder horizontal single expansion trunk engines were built by John Penn and Sons of Greenwich.
