Description: The Meridian markers at Peacehaven on the south coast of England. These consist of a stone monument (1936) and the Millennium Beacon (1999). The monument is surmounted by a copper globe. On two sides there are inscribed plaques - one with distances to other places, the second with various dedications. To its west is the Millennium Beacon with inscribed plaques.
