Description: After a seven-year run in the West End, Lionel Bart's hit musical 'Oliver' was sent to Tokyo for a three-month season. The show was shipped in two 32-ton containers from the King George V Dock in March 1968. 'Oliver' was the first British show to be staged in Japan.
