Title: The paddle steamer Vanbrugh (1905) leaving Charing Cross Pier.
Description: The 'Vanbrugh' (1905, 120 GRT) was built by the Thames Iron Works at Blackwall. She was fitted with compound diagonal engines. She was built for the London County Council's unsuccessful 'penny steamer' service, which ran between Greenwich to Hammersmith during 1905-07. She was then sold for use on the River Seine at Rouen, France and named 'Boieldieu'.
