| Description: London was an important embarkation point for people taking a pleasure cruise. Cruises were the prerogative of the wealthy until fairly recent times. The P&O's 'Viceroy of India' sailed on the Shore Excursions Cruise No. 6, leaving London on 19 June 1936 for Leith, Trondhjem, Hammerfest, Spitzbergen, Tromso, Narvik and Bergen. |
