Description: A fluid watercolour sketch of the Royal Naval College (formerly Greenwich Hospital) by the marine William Lionel Wyllie (1851-1931). The sketch appears to show the College at sunset, with the adjacent riverfront on either side, taken from almost due north, on the Blackwall side of the Isle of Dogs. There are small vessels on the river but the manner of sketching reveals no detail. A bulky building in the distance, to the far right, may be Mumford's Greenwich Flour Mill (1897) close to Deptford Creek at the west end of Greenwich High Road.
