Description: HMS 'Semiramis' was launched at the Royal Dockyard at Deptford in 1808. She saw active service during the Anglo-American War of 1812 and on 1 May that year, in the company of HMS 'Scylla' and HMS 'Pheasant', captured the American schooner 'The Jenny' as a prize.
