| Description: The interior of St Paul's Seamen's Church in Dock Street, as drawn by Francis Arandale. This was built by the directors of the nearby Sailors' Home as a replacement for the Episcopal Floating Church. Prince Albert laid the foundation stone in May 1846, and the church was completed two years later. It closed for worship in 1990, but the building still survives. |
