Greenwich Park, the oldest enclosed Royal Park, is situated on a hilltop with impressive views across the River Thames to the Docklands and the City of London.
The park provides a setting for several historic buildings, including the Old Royal Observatory, the Royal Naval College (formerly the Royal Hospital for Seamen), the National Maritime Museum (in the buildings of the former Royal Hospital School) and the Queen's House. |
