| Description: The Japanese vessel 'Yamashiro Maru' (1963) in the Royal Albert Dock in October 1964. She was the first merchant ship to be fitted with a bulbous bow. This incorporated 'wave-making resistance reduction technology', which allowed considerable fuel savings. |
