| Description: Calico was a fine printed cloth and was so called because it was first imported into London from Calicut, in the East Indies, by the East India Company. This example commemorates Vice-Admiral Lord Nelson, who was buried in St. Paul's Cathedral, London, after an elaborate funeral service in January 1806. |
