Description: A print of King George IV leaving Greenwich on the Royal yacht 'Royal George' (1817). Royal yachts have been used since the reign of Charles II (1660-85), usually to carry the sovereign on ceremonial occasions, or as a means of travel to an official visit. On this occasion, George IV was embarking on a visit to Scotland.
