Title: Alex Edgar - Recollections of changes in the Port of London.
Description: Alex worked at the Royal Docks and recalls how fast the dock gangs could unload a ship full of frozen carcasses. He also remembers the changing methods of discharging cargo. When fork-lift trucks were introduced he became one of the first dockers to drive one.
