Title: The Middleton and St Bride's Wharf.
Description: This was a large wharf operated by the English and Scottish Joint Co-Operative Wholesale Society for nearly half a century before its closure in 1967. By the time this photo was taken, the wharf had suffered some neglect. Three years later, it was demolished to make room for luxury housing.
