Title: The St Katharine Dock House.
Description: The original headquarters of the St Katharine Docks Company, opened in 1828. This fine building also hosted the Marine Board Examinations, famously described by Joseph Conrad in his novel 'Chance' (1913). The building was destroyed in the Blitz and not rebuilt.
