Description: The King George V Dock was the last of three Royal Docks to be built (the others were the Royal Victoria and the Royal Albert). The King George V Dock was started in 1912, but not finished until 1921. By the time this photograph was taken in 1973, London's docks were in decline. The Royal Docks closed in 1981.
