Description: Full hull model of HMS 'Warrior' on original base with a mounted plaque. The first iron-hulled armoured ship, the 'Warrior' was built as a response to the French 'Gloire', which carried iron armour on a wooden hull. When built, the 'Warrior' could have engaged any existing fleet in the world with impunity.
