| Description: The inside of the Octogan Room at the Royal Observatory Greenwich. It was designed by the architect Sir Christopher Wren. In the centre of the room here is an orrery, which is a planetarium that illustrates the relative positions of bodies in the solar system, for example planets or moons. They are symbolised using balls, that rotate and revolve using clockwork or a similar system. |
