Description: Loading cargo onto the P&O liner 'Coromandel' (1949, 7065 GRT) at the King George V Dock in May 1954. Loading a ship demanded special skills. Cargo had to be placed carefully in the hold to make sure that the ship did not become unbalanced and capsize.
