Title: Mary Read.
Description: A depiction of the London-born pirate Mary Read. Her colourful life included a spell in the army and on a merchant ship - in both cases, disguised as a man. Captured by pirates, she joined them in several expeditions in the Caribbean before being brought to justice. As she was pregnant she was spared the gallows, but died of fever in prison.
