Title: Hay's Wharf.
Description: Hay's Wharf in its heyday around 1960. By that time the Hay's Group controlled almost all the wharves on the south bank between Tower Bridge and London Bridge. It was nicknamed the 'larder of London', and its cranes dominated the south side of the river.
Hay's closed in 1969, and the site is now occupied by Hay's Galleria, a mixture of office, retail and residential space incorporating some elements of the previous buildings.
