Description: Emma Hamilton was born Amy Lyon in 1765 and was the daughter of a Wirral blacksmith, who died soon after her birth. She was the lover of Horatio Nelson from 1799 until Nelson's death in 1805. Emma bore him a daughter, Horatia, in 1801.
