Repro ID: H0397
Description: A car park at Woolwich Dockyard. Although the dockyard closed in 1869, it has a long history of ship building. Henry VIII decided to build two dockyards on the Thames in 1513, one at Deptford and one at Woolwich, places close to his palace in Greenwich. He is known to have enjoyed watching the process of the building of warships and to have had banquets on board ships before they set sail.
