| Description: First aid posts were established throughout London on the eve of the Second World War. The one shown here was located at Bermondsey Central Baths. Most of the posts were staffed by a doctor and several trained nurses. They dealt with cases that required more medical attention than was available from the mobile First Aid parties. |
