Title: A Grand orrery.
Description: A planetarium or orrery made for demonstrating the relative movements of the celestial bodies in the solar system. This is a Grand orrery on a black wooden base with four trestle legs and brass feet. The panels are gilt framed and painted with coloured zodiac symbols. There is a clock in between Leo and Gemini, which is signed by the maker (James Simmonds, London).
