Description: James Robson (also known as Tony) was a Chinese man who had been found as a castaway baby and taken on board the Cutty Sark by the wife of the Captain. The child was brought to London and grew up at Poplar. Robson became a seaman and cook on the Cutty Sark between 1885 and 1895.
