Description: The Silvertown Lubricants Oil Works at Minoco Wharf was devasted by the Silvertown explosion. The works were adjacent to the Brunner Mond factory and felt the full force of the blast. Many years later, Shell Oil had an establishment on the Minoco Wharf site.
