KonkaniAlso known as Konkanim. An Indo-European language spoken along the Western coast of India from Gujarat to Kerela. The Portuguese called this language 'Lingua Canarim' or 'Canarina'. The Konkani language exists in a number of scripts including Gujarati, Marathi, Latin, Deo Nagari, Kanarese and Malayalam. |
