Introduction

Much of the old port has disappeared thanks to fires, Nazi bombs and redevelopment. Fortunately, much still remains.

Here is a selection of surviving buildings and features from the port. It is not comprehensive, and concentrates of many of the less familiar survivors. Despite some brutal redevelopment, all the areas of the former port are worth visiting.
