Transcription for "Moving for a bathroom (this clip is 26 seconds long - 841KB)"

(Margaret moved to Deptford, Pam is the session facilitator)

Margaret: I came over to live here because I got offered, urm, lived in two rooms, Peabody. No bathroom and I had a little girl and then I had the little boy and they was 1 year, four days apart.

Pam: Gosh

Margaret: So I’ve asked for somewhere with a bathroom

Pam: Yeah…

Margaret: And I thought they would have given me a place where I lived

Pam: Yeah…

Margaret: Because they were modernising them. But they didn’t, they sent me over here and it was three bedrooms, front and back garden and I couldn’t turn it down because…

Pam: No

Margaret: I wouldn’t have got nothing else

Pam: And that’s round here

Margaret: And that’s how I came over to Deptford.
