Title: The new Canada Dock nearing completion
Description: The second half of the 19th century saw London's dock system double in size. The port's seemingly limitless growth as the world's main trade centre resulted in the upgrading and re-building of the existing docks and the construction of new facilities such as the Canada Dock at the Surrey Commercial Docks, which was completed in 1876.
