Description: HMS 'Belfast' at Symon's Wharf in the Pool of London, with the Dutch destroyer 'Holland' berthed alongside. The cruiser 'Belfast' (1938) served in the Second World War, playing an important part in the destruction of the German battle cruiser 'Scharnhorst' at the Battle of North Cape and in the Normandy Landings.
