| Description: Although a fairly slow ship, 'Endeavour' had plenty of room for stores and provisions on a long voyage. This deck plan also shows the cramped accommodation for officers and civilians. The naturalist Sir Joseph Banks shared the great cabin with Cook and his party, for their daily work. The crew and civilian servants were berthed in hammocks slung above the stores |
