Description: A counter commemorating Queen Elizabeth I, showing her crowned and wearing a ruff, necklace and brocaded gown (three-quarter right). This portrait was copied from a miniature of the queen by Isaac Oliver, and the dress shown is the one in which she attended the state service at St Paul's Cathedral to mark the defeat of the Armada.
