Children in Turnpin Lane
Children in Turnpin Lane, Greenwich
Part of the Greenwich Local History Library collection.

In 1901, the streets and parks of London were the natural places for children to meet, play and look for adventure. The houses in Little Thames Street were small and crowded, so children might be told to play outdoors.
