Punctuation makes sentences easy to read.
These sentences need commas. Click on the space in the sentence where you think the comma should go. Blue ones "Blue comma" are correct. Red ones "Red comma"are wrong. You can have more than one go.

1. When the teacher asks questions Henry answers.

2. They run up the hill then they roll down.

3. While rolling in the grass Walter finds an old penny.

4. The Queen is young with her hair tied up in a ribbon.

5. When they reach Bridge Street they stop.

6. They run up the lane then accross the churchyard.

7. There are sums using guineas shillings and pence.

8. There are sums about stones pounds and ounces.

9. Once outside the shop Henry looks inside the the paper bag.
